We have just finished St Georges Day. We are now entering wedding season, yet we still get chance to bring you some food porn !

Perhaps some ideas for your next dinner party
We do cater at your home aswell you know !

Some Simple Canapes to Start off

For Main Course

Fillet of Beef, Cooked Rare with a Brandy and Pink Peppercorn Sauce
Flat Mushroom with a Herb Crust and Roasted Vine Tomatoes

An Oven Roasted Mediterranean Vegetable and Mozzarella Tower
Served with Roasted Tomato Provencale and Balsamic Syrup


For our Dessert we have gone for a real wow factor
with a Quad of Miniature Delicacies

All Washed Down with a Absolute Raspberry Vodka Shot to give it some kick !

St Georges Day Festival Saturday 24th April

Saturday 24th April
Rowley's were on hand to cater the St Georges Black Tie Ball. The 2nd part of the St Georges Weekend festival.



This time 400 people descended on Lytham for an evening of entertainment and great hospitality
And wow they were in for a great evening

The massive Marquee from Ck of Kirkham
was once again dressed to its best. Coronet hire had gone to town with some very Chic crockery fitting for the event. Whilst more flowers were brought in for the extra tables from Zime Design.

In the backgrounds Team Rowley's were working hard to get the 400 Smoked Salmon starters prepared ready for service

Cuffe & Taylor Event Management were once again on hand to look after the stunning state of the art sound and lighting system.

The Hooper Band were on site early to warm up and get all the sound checks sorted


The North Wests Finest Swing Singer Howard Wing was first on stage, for the Champagne and Canape reception and Meal

Just before food was served, The Band of The Kings Regiment
Played a Fitting performance outside the Marquee for all to watch

Inside Team Rowley's front of house were looking as fantastic as ever and getting in a last minute photo shoot before everybody sat down

To Start was a Mouthwatering Smoked Salmon Starter with Cream Cheese and Garden Herb Pate, Served with Balsamic Syrup and Phils Bakery Walnut Bread

This was followed by Roast Sirloin of Beef with all the trimmings

For dessert a fantastic Blackcurrant and Raspberry Torte with Fresh Berrys and Woodland Berry Coulis

To finish, Platters of Cheese and Biscuits, Freshly Brewed Coffee with Chocolates and Pieces of Roly's Of Lytham Fudge - You need to check the Vanilla Flavour its addictive !

James Booker from Lytham Breweries was on hand to keep an eye on the drinks


It was not long after the meal and singing was over that the fantastic Hooper Band had everybody up dancing with music from every era.

And after all their hard work. Tracey Whalley and Philip Aindow get chance to relax. Without them the event would not have even gone ahead... A well deserved dance guys !

St Georges Day Festival Friday 23rd April

Friday 23rd April saw the start of the Lytham St Georges Day Celebration
This year set of the picturesque Lytham Green Seafront.

Hundreds of people lined the streets of Lytham for The St Georges Day Parade, before 250 people arrived at the colossal marque on the sea front for a charity afternoon celebrations

The Marquee from Ck Marquee's of Kirkham was to its usual high standards, this year backed up with stunning floral centre pieces from Zime Design of Lytham. Coronet Hire provided high quality Crockery and Cutlery, and hats off especially to Cuffe and Taylor Event Management who kitted out the Marquee with a state of the art sound and lighting system, free of charge.

Rowley's were on hand to greet guests with bubbly and some mouth watering Canape's, all which were St Georges themed and locally sourced.



The Buffet Style Meal began with
Chicken Liver and Brandy Pate Filo Basket
Served with a Cherry Tomato Salad, Balsamic Syrup and Local Artizan Breads From Phil's Bakery


This was followed by Lancashire Tasty Soup

The Main Course was a Choice of Honey Roast Ham or Sirloin of Beef
Served with a Choice of Boiled New Potatoes, Celeriac Coleslaw, Oven Roasted Vegetable Pasta Salad and Continental Mixed Leaves

Dessert was a Choice of Sticky Toffee Pudding with Pembertons Dairy Cream
or
Locally Produced Singleton Dairy Cheeses


The Rest of the day was hosted by The Brothers of Swing

Who led the crowds in the obligatory sing along of 'Land of hope and Glory'

Lytham Hall Wedding Fayre

It was a fantastic turn out at Lytham Hall last Sunday for the much awaited 2010 Wedding Fayre

Over 400 people came along lots of whom were looking for that perfect wedding venue


And a grand welcome was layed on before them with Stunning Canapes from Rowley's




The Gillow Room was Dressed for a Stunning Afternoon Tea Style Banquet

With Fabulous Candelabras from Flower Design



The Black and White Themed Table Table looked perfectly set against the Cream Marquee Backdrop

The Fireplace was dressed with some simple yet elegant displays which complimented perfectly






The Gold Room, set our for a ceremony, with the registrars on hand to answer any questions
