On Your Marks, Get Set, Go...... In the name of Fair Trade. And we have to say it was a moral victory for Paul Rowley, who turned up with the smallest pan. Unfortunately it did not win him the race or the trophy though.The award for the Fyldes Best (Pancake) Tosser this year went to Paul Curran, Head Chef of the Bedford Hotel. Although the event was a bit of fun it did highlight a serious issue, and it was great to see so many business turning out to get behind the innitiative.
The next event, is a Fair Trade Food and Wine Tasting hosted at The Lindum Hotel, with a flower demonstration from the wonderful Flower Design. The event costs £5.00, starting at 7pm and the tickets are available from the Town Hall
