Wedding of Lucas & Sarah Calhoun Saturday 15th August

It was the 2nd Party for the happy couple Lucas & Sarah, who had already got married in the US. And after another week of rain in Lytham St Annes, the clouds parted to make way for the sun, as guests arrived at the hall to be greated by Team Rowley's with Glasses of Pimms and Ice Cold Cloudy Lemonade. Along with the usual mouthwatering Canapes.

Not so long after came the arrival of the happy couple. Lucas and Sarah, who gathered everyone on the hall staircase for their blessing.

This was followed by a fully stocked Rowley's bar and free flowing Rose Wine.

At this point, Rowley's have to say a big thank you to Booth's the Supermarket, for stocking the popular 'Makers Mark' Kentucky Bourbon, of which Lucas and his friends enjoyed so much. Our stock was cleared by the end of the Reception !

After a couple of hours had passed and all the Canapes had been eaten, everyone was called through to the west wing, ready to receive the newly weds. The upper west wing had been decorated in style to Sarah's tastes, who with the help of Rowley's had spent the day previous mounting Fairy lights onto the roof beams !

Tomato, Mozzarella and Fresh Basil Salad
Served With Cumbrian Air Dried Ham

*****
Roast English Beef
Served with Yorkshire Pudding and Real Roast Gravy

Roast Potatoes with Sea Salt & Rosemary

*****
Sticky Toffee Pudding
Served with Butterscotch Sauce and Creamy Custard

The meal was rounded of with Champagne toasts and some memorable speeches from various members of family and friends

After the speeches guests gathered in the courtyard for the cutting of the cake, whilst Rowley's turned round the west wing for an evening disco and more Makers Mark Bourbon !

Cassidy Wedding - Saturday 25th July @ Lytham Hall

The sun shone on the righteous at Lytham Hall, and after a week of rain the weather proved perfect for Peter and Kelly Cassidy

As usual the marquee from Ck Marquees looked stylish and pristine and was complimented by the usual array of stunning floral displays from the brilliant Flower Design

Rowley's were on hand to prepare a unique menu devised in conjunction with the bride and groom.

Evening guests were greeted with a glass of champagne from a specially ordered Balthazar and then danced the night away to the sound of local band, The Deadbeats, who were brilliant I have to say.

And of course Rowley's were there till the early hours ready with a fully stocked bar and a Hog Roast buffet. Yes we do our own hog roasts now with our very own built hog roasting oven.

The evening rapped up at 1am with everyone well fed, entertained and watered !

Wigglesworth Wedding 18th July

The weather changed for the better on July 18th to make way for the marriage of Richard & Lindsay Wiggleworth at Staining Golf Club.

Guests arrived on a traditional London double decker bus and Team Rowley's were ready with Peach Blinis and Corona's with Lime, to quench the thirsts.

Team Rowleys, Ready and Waiting !

And lets not forget the rest of the staff working away serving Rowley's mouthwatering Canapes

Amongst the guests were team mates of Richards from the England Rugby Union Team.

Rowley's Dan Palmer, who plays for Fylde Rugby and North Lancashire Rugby, could not wait to get a photo with England World Cup Winning Squad Winger Jason Robinson.

Guests were then called into the Marquee, dressed to its best as usual with breathtaking floral displays from the brilliant Flower Design, ready to tuck into the four course banquet laid on by Rowley's talented team of Chefs.

On the menu was
Smoked Salmon with a Cream Cheese & Herb Pate
Served with Mixed Leaves on a Warm Potato Rosti

For Main Course

Breast of Goosnargh Chicken

For Desserts

A Tasty Trio of
Iced Woodland Berry Smoothie, Passion Fruit and White Chocolate Profiterole and Lemon Meringue

The Evening party was lead by local legend Mr Steve Baylis who had all the crowd dancing through the night.

For the more daring was a hand sculptured ice vodka luge, supervised by England Winger Mark Queto, as you can see, it was put to the test by a large crowd.

And what... even more food. Yes, Miniature Cones of Fish and Chips were served, along with a fabulous wedding cheesecake, with freshly baked breads, pickles and chutneys.

An Ice Cream van was also provided to cool everyone down after all the dancing. Mr Whippy's Ice Cream is available to hire for a very reasonable rate, and I can personally garuntee they provide quality ice creams with the largest choice of sauces and toppings I have ever seen.
