Laura & Ewan Cobain's New Years Eve Winter Wonderland Wedding

Staining Lodge Golf Club was the Venue for what was to be a Winter Wonderland Extravaganza on 31st December 2010

The Bride and Groom were greeted by Paul Rowley with Laura's very own Champagne Cocktail

Soon followed by the other 130 guests who were ready for the festivities
Along with the Champagne Cocktails were Espresso Cups of Bailey's Hot Chocolate

Served with some of Rowley's Canapés
Tempura King Prawns
Sautéed Mushroom, Tarragon and Mature Cheddar Cheese Crostini
Chicken Satay with Peanut Satay Dipping Sauce
Miniature Shepard Pie's

Laura's extra little touches complimented what was a fantastic setting

The Very Talented Jane Thompson and Team Flower Design had gone all out on the flowers providing what must have been the most details and stunning looking top table display I have seen

The Marquee from Ck Marquees with its fully Black Star Lit Roof Set The Winter Wonderland Theme off and the tables were lifted with illuminated snowy Orchid displays

The Chef's were hard at work in the Kitchen's preparing a Feast whilst the guests relaxed in the Lodge

The Legendary Phil's Bakery of Lytham once again made an appearance on the menu this time with some of his fantastic Artizan Bread selection

To Start
A Smooth Chicken Liver Pate Served in a Sealed Jar with Applewood Scented Smoke, Cherry Tomato Salad, Melba Toast and Home Made Tomato & Chilli Chutney

For Main Course
Was the Increasingly Popular 'Host The Roast'
I love this as a Main Course, as it really spurs interactivity amongst the guests at the table
A Sirloin of Beef brought out on it's own chopping board with carving knife and fork to the Lucky nominated Carver, Served with Rustic Roasted Root Vegetables, Dauphinoise Potatoes, Yorkshire Pudding and Rich Roast Gravy

For Dessert was Individual Fondue Platters
Selected Fresh Fruit, Miniature Marshmallows and Hand Made Doughnuts
All Served with Bowl of Melted Milk Chocolate

To Finish
Was Cafetieres of Coffee, Boards of Locally Selected Cheese and Hand Made Shortbread

And if you thought that was enough, there was more.
For the evening food was Hand Made Pork & Leek Sausages, Mashed Potato, Mash Carrot & Suede with Onion Gravy Served with Plenty of Crusty Bread

The Cake looked stunning decorated with Icing Snowflakes and Diamonds

Our Great Friend Jonny Draper had all the photo's in check and was there throughout the day capturing all the memorable moments right till the end of the first dance

The Happy Couple Cut the Cake in front of a crowd of Flashing Camera's

The Rowley's Illuminated Bars looked fantastic with the Purple theme and Proved a fantastic setting for the cocktail flairer's who were very popular !

Once the Formalities had been completed the guests took to the dance floor and were entertained by the Brilliant White Keys Band

The Clock Struck Midnight and the Fabulous Balloon that had been waiting in the background all day finally exploded

Congratulations Laura and Ewan and a Happy New Year from Rowley's Catering
